Terms of Service

Last updated July 2026

By creating a Punchcard account, you agree to these terms. They describe how the product actually works today, matched to this codebase rather than generic boilerplate - but they aren't a substitute for your own legal review before you rely on them.

The service

Punchcard is a time-tracking tool: employees clock in and out with a verified GPS location, admins manage their crew and pull payroll-ready reports.

Accounts

Admins are responsible for the accuracy of the company and employee information they enter, and for keeping their password confidential. You're responsible for activity under your account.

Billing

Team and Business plans are billed monthly per seat through Stripe. If your active employee count exceeds your paid seats, your seat count and bill increase automatically - there's no separate approval step for that. If a payment fails, you get a 7-day grace period before admin access (not employee clock-in/out) is restricted, and it's restored automatically once payment succeeds.

Cancellation

You can cancel from Admin → Billing at any time. Canceling stops billing immediately and permanently deletes your company's data - every employee, every shift, every location entry, the company record itself. This can't be undone, and there's no grace period after you confirm it.

Acceptable use

Don't use Punchcard for anything illegal, to store data you don't have the right to collect from your employees, or to attempt to break or abuse the service.

Disclaimer

Punchcard is provided as-is. We work to keep it reliable and accurate, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
